Microphone too tranquillity on computer, please lend a hand??!!?

Please lend a hand, my microphone on the computer (home XP) was working faultlessly ok until about a month ago when associates began to enunciate they couldn't hear me and I had to practically shout to be hear. So the mike was surrounded by effect working but was just about picking up sound. After checking the nouns and volume settings etc, it was adjectives ok, so after much testing and adjectives seeming to be ok on the computer settings, I decided that it must be the microphone itself that needed replacing. I have also tried to update the drivers, but they were already up to date and working ok.So I replaced the mike beside a new one. It still have the same problem. I own tried it in the different Jack and on another computer. It be fine on another computer but not in another jack.

I hold run out of idea's. Does anybody else have anything to suggest that I haven't tried already??

Please lend a hand....

Very common issue. somewhere buried contained by the mic properties is a mic boost or a +20 dB checkbox you need to check..

I found it surrounded by my ver of XP by go to control panel, nouns and audio devices, voice tab, voice recording volume button, later options / advanced controls... click on the advanced tab and check that box...

weee they product it easy to find.
