But its showing on cpu-z as 1000 Mhz and on my computer properties its showing 900 Mhz! Whats going on?

Its the cool and quiet tech from AMD that reduce cpu speeds when not needed to stifle heat
you can exchange the speed in CMOS, at the begining of the startup you click F1 i suppose and then it will bring you to an hoary school program and you go to CPU and later you can change the speed. When you evolution the speed don't make it faster than what 2.2 GHz (that's over clocking) and that will grill your computer really fast.
