Sounds resembling you need a trial fan. They are not expensive (10-15$) but can be tricky to install. If you are not comfortable gap your PC take it to a specialist. The most it should cost next to installation is 30$.
Sounds like it's over heat..
This is rather complex to diagnose with the little information that you own provided. however I would take an literary guess and say that it is one of your fan. Take the side off of your computer tower and blow the fan out with nouns, CPU, Graphics,Power supply, and any other fans that you find surrounded by there.

This may security the problem if not you may call for new fan.

I am hoping that this is thee noise and not the clanking of the unyielding drive as it is slowly dieing
You need to verbs your computer.

Turn off your computer. Open up the overnight case, and vacuum out all the dust. Get a can of compressed nouns, and blow out all the corners, the fan, etc. An excess of dust can clog your heatsinks and fans, and overheat your mechanism.
Most computers have a heat controlled fan - the harder the CPU is working, the more warmth it generates and the faster the admirer has to spin to cool it, and a faster spinning devotee is noiser.

There are several things that can cause the nouns on the computer to go up: playing games, ripping music or video, using, creating videos or editing photos. However, the one I find that happen the most, both on my desktop and my laptop computers are browsers. A lot of web sites use javascript and it sometimes go a bit off the rail. Closing the browser will fix it.
could B the fan or the hd depends on the nouns
