Memory Upgrade?

I enjoy a Presario SR2175X with 447 MB RAM.I can expand it to 2GB using PNY PC5300(1GB each) according to Bestbuy memory finder.$79.99,on mart.Is this a good choice?

You see, this says that your MAX is 2GB.

I would be more comfortable near the PC2 4200 RAM. All three of these Vendors guarantee that it will work.



So you see, Best Buy is not BEST. Maybe it is BEST for them.

Check those # against Ebay they might be even cheaper
ebay might be cheaper but it could be generic memory
If it uses PC5300 then should work. Tonight get 2G (1G each) of PNY PC5300 for $43 each on public sale at Best Buy store.
yes.. PNY is one of the more reliable memory companies



in lingo of the price..i'd also look at newegg, tigerdirect and specialized online memory stores like digi4me.com (where i bring back all my memory personally) to see if they might own a better price
