Linux for Intel base Macs?

Which version of Linux can I install on an intel dual-core based imac. What's the best bearing to do it? 20 gig barrier and just install? or Bootcamp?

Ubuntu? Yellow Dog?

Linux for Intel base Macs?

You can't use BootCamp to install Linux on a separate boot on your Mac's HD. If you do find a passageway to put Linux on a separate partition of your Mac's HD, use Ubuntu.
You can't use BootCamp to install Linux. Other ways of installing Linux surrounded by a dual-boot scheme are hugely tedious. The best and easiest road to use Linux on a Mac is to go near virtualization. Use VMware or Parallels. I suggest downloading the VMware Fusion Beta and giving it a try.

Personally, I don't see any reason for running Linux on a Mac, as you can already download Mac-native version of pretty much all common Linux applications. Linux itself is like Mac OS X's retarded second cousin.
