Low cost linux desktop computer?

I want to build a LOW cost Linux desktop Computer. I want it to run FC6 or UBUNTU. What hardware would I stipulation? I'm wanting to spend around $200 - $250. Thank you.

cd/dvd burner

MSI or ASuS mother board near integrated graphic card and nouns card

CPU or cheap to buy



as for Linux version dance for Ubuntu, it is the best for installation, and the easiest to learn, beside lots of support and e-manuals you can download,,
I would suggest using something besides Fedora or Ubuntu. Slackware or Debian would be a better choice. With Slackware and Debian it is easy to ditch big weight desktop environments approaching KDE and Gnome and use light weightiness stuff like Xfce, IceWM. Slackware and Debian hold a higher study curve but they are easier to tune to run on old hardware.
If you budge as cheap as you possibly can, you might possibly be able to receive the parts to build a computer for ~$300. If you decide to skip a valise, and reuse usable parts from an older computer (a power supply, travel case, heatsink/fan (assuming they're the same size), and the cords for a SATA intricate drive) This will allow you to buy OEM processor, and hard drive, and you'll be capable of skip over the case/PSU. For that you could do $200-$250. However, it's not really worth the hassle in my feelings. You'd be much better off getting a used computer from ebay that have some version of Linux installed on it (it will be cheaper if Windows isn't on it).
