Hello

I enjoy Java Runtime Environment 1.6.0.1 installed on my PC and now within is Java Runtime Environment 1.6.0.2 available to update. Should I remove the old publication and install the new one, or freshly install the new revision leaving the weak versions too. There are another 6 version when i open make the addition of or remove programs. Why are they so much should i remove them and leave the bright one only.

Thank you.

Also which one is obedient Diskeeper or perfectDisk

Java Update?

Problems can occur if you are running more than one edition of Java as they can cause conflicts beside each other. Furthermore, Java have a nasty craving of not removing older version when updating to the newest so you hold to uninstall old version manually.

Assuming that you are in the Administrator report, go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and uninstall everything that say J2SE, Java and Java Runtime. Reboot (some computers require a reboot to complete the uninstall process). Then go to the site below and download the most recent copy of Java.

Afterwards, in IE, travel to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced tab and scroll down to the Java section and tickmark the Use 1.6.2 (version change with respectively update) for applet. Click Apply, Click OK and reboot (a reboot is required for some computers for the settings to stick).

As for the Diskeeper versus perfectDisk question, I don't use any but someone should be able to relieve.
you should remove tho older text, you only want 1 publication running because it will cause problems if you run more than 1 edition
