Is Video HW Transform & Lighting needed contained by a illustrative card contained by lay down to play games?

I am confused since http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/ref... told me i did not collect the minmium requirements to play nfs most wanted and that i needed Video HW Transform & Lighting even so i played it a few months back i even completed the team game. It also says that i do not get together the minmium requirements of call of duty which i enjoy also played and completed the game. So does be going to i will be able to play Civilization IV if i buy it.

All the sites I own used that check if your PC is compatible usually tell me my PC isn't, even so I have a Top of the chain gamming computer and pretty much all games run on it. I believe that Transform & Lighting is required for most games but they usually run short it. I play SWAT 4 on my laptop and every time before it runs a dialoge box comes up dictum Your Graphics Card does not support required Transform and Lighting techniques. If you verbs your game will not be supported and may impose damage to your computer.--or something similar to that. But I click continue anyways and enjoy never had any problems next to it. It may be that Transform and Lighting is required only when running the hobby at it's highest possible symbolic settings. But Civ 4 shouldn't be a problem with that as long as your computer meet the minimum requirements. Good Luck!
