I own a 150GB WD Raptor as the primary...I wanted more storage so I get this...

Is this a virtuous choice for a rock-hard drive?

that is an excellent complex drive
Appears to come with one year warranty. And they bestow you the option for an extended warranty for $$$.



I would jump with Western Digitial they donate a 3 year warranty and it is a company that knows tricky drives.
Both of what you have are excellent choices. The simply other suggestion would be to add another Raptor within a Raid setup if you need the extra speed.
