Thats sounds like more than adequate PC for your needs. Also vista is slower than XP but 2gb of hit runs fine. I had 1gb on my laptop beside vista and it was a dog, added the second see and it runs smooth
It's pretty good, but somewhat outdated surrounded by today's standard - about a year or so. You could own always bring back better deals beside better specs elsewhere, but Dell being the easiest mode, I can't really tell you to not to buy it.

Dell does hold some bad experience next to customer service though. Check this link to see former buyers' dear experience.

I say to be exact a good computer but I'm wondering.. What's the video card and knotty drive space? Because Vista will need some GFX card, it's similar to playing a video game lol.

Overall, if I be a Windows fan, I would buy it. (What's the clock on the processor? 1.86hz?)

I speak everything is good adequate except for the GFX card... But then again, Windows Vista is CRAP and you should ask them to install XP or dance buy an iMac. Don't let me inform you my story w/ Vista and Dell...

But if you can go for Dell or HP and not a bit other crap brands for desktop.
