There are a couple of reasons that this may arise. First thing would be to find a dos based start disk near a utility to check the hard drive. You state that the drive is a western recon, Is it possible that you designed western digital. Go to their web site @www.wdc.com and download the notes life guard utility to interview the drive. The second cause may be due to a cd or dvd drive issue. I hold seen the blue eyeshade of death during a window install if the cd is scratched and it can't send the info to be written to the rock-hard drive. If you have another reworked copy of windows afterwards I would give that a try as economically.
Are you putting some stress or twist when mounting it within the case? Hard drive have bad boot secter?

Priced at a whopping $1399 at newegg.com you better believe this chip is hot.

With my unusual FX 405 there are no problems near surfing the WWW or sending and
receiving E mail but it is impossible to work with the Telebanking programs

Hi, very well I currently have a kingston 512 pc3200 contained by my computer along with a 256 stick that come with the computer. I be debating whether I should get a 1 gb of memory and I be looking at the best buy website when I found that their 1gb was on mart. But the one on sale is a kingston pc2700. My computer IS compatible next to that model, but I was wondering, is it ok to mix model types? Will it still function properly? Thanks within advance.

If the artistic 256MB stick is pc2700 your 512 MB pc3200 is also running at pc2700 as the ram singular runs as fast as the slowest memory. If the fastest knock against your puter will support is pc2700 then buying any faster run into would be a waste of money but if your puter can run at pc3200 and that 256 stick is PC2700 tug it and fill your contraption with as much PC3200 as it will thieve: Try this. hit scan my system to see what you have and what upgrades you own as an option.

Ok I enjoy 2 512mb of DDR2 RAM PC 4200(DDR2 533) for a total of 1gb already installed.
I just purchased a set of 2gb (1+1gb) Dual Channel DDR2 PC 6400 (DDR2 800).
I own a total of 4 RAM slots.
I have a Socket AM2 motherboard running a AMD X2 4000+ processor 2000 FSB.
Can I merely add within the dual channel set of RAM or will the two slower 512's slow the total speed down if I have them all installed.
Am I better stale just removing the 2 512's?
What will present me the highest amount of speed for what RAM combo I hold ??
Please give me direction??? I am unsure of the best setup here. Confused.......?

yeah remove the PC4200 and put the PC6400 never ever put diff kind of memory. yeah it'll work but itll frustrate you
Remove the slower speed because if you dont the motherboard will slow down the faster hit so it all works.
I really would not recommend that. Get rid of the 512's and put the 2 gigs surrounded by. Newegg has a large amount on the Crucial Ballistix now... 2 Gigs of DDR2 800 for 80 bucks after a 45 letters in rebate.
mixing bump speed doesn't effect any hardware issue. the only entry is that, your speed isn't what you might think it is. preferrably, you should hold all like peas in a pod speed. that will bring out the max speed on your ram. if you be to mix it, it will be ok as well. only check to make sure your motherboard can support those speeds. click here to find knock against http://www.crucial.com
